Frequently Asked Questions

Have you got a question you wish you had the answer to?  Perhaps what you're looking for is just a scroll away.     If not, no problem!  Shoot us a message and we'll be more than happy to answer any and all questions you have!

What Should My Child Bring to Sessions and Clinics?

  • Clothing wise the answer is: whatever your child is most comfortable in! We however recommend athletic clothing which is light and flexible and will allow your child to be comfortable and able to meet the physical demands of the session.

  • Indoor sneakers are mandatory as they are needed for safe movement on the court while maintaining the integrity of our court surfaces.

  • Knee pads, while not mandatory, are strongly encouraged.

  • Water bottles and snacks.

  • A positive attitude!

What Session Should I Register My Child In?

Great question!  Visit our Programs page to learn more about the specifics of each session.  Still unsure?  Send us an email and we'd be happy to provide more information! When registering for camps and sessions however, we kindly ask that you sign your child up for the Grade/Age group they are currently in.  We typically would prefer that athletes be in their proper age group as this is the most beneficial thing for all athletes involved as it will be better suited to their current needs. Regardless of the session we strive to ensure we meet the athletes at their skill proficiency level to grow their game to their greatest potential.

Under special circumstances an athlete may be granted permission to attend an older age group however, this must be sent to us through email first before granting access.

I Have to Cancel My Child's Session. Is it Refundable?

Up to 48 hours prior to the start of the session or camp refunds will be considered with the exception of a $25 administrative fee.  Any cancellations after this time will not be refundable.  This is to allow for appropriate time for athletes on waitlists to be notified of their acceptance into sessions and for our coaches to adjust their planning.  For more details on refunds please check out the refund policy here.

What must be completed prior to my child being able to take part in any Tempo events?

Prior to your child hitting the courts in any one of our Tempo events there are a few things we must ensure you and your child have done first.  These include:

  • Be a registered an paid NLVA member for the current NLVA season the event falls under. Seasons run from September 1 - August 31. Please ensure you have sent along your child's NLVA number to us prior to the event.

  • Have a signed and completed waiver sent back to us.  If you have registered for an event and have not received a waiver to complete yet please reach out to us at tempovolleyballnl@gmail.com and we will be more than happy to send one your way!

  • Have the events fee paid for by e-transferring the amount to tempovolleyballnl@gmail.com.
